You know what trivia is? Fun. You know who loves trivia? Everyone! That being said, every Tuesday, I will post a new trivia question and answer that you can use to make some money off your friends (or just impress them). This week’s category: Rejected Actors of Oscar-Nominated Films!
One of the primary reasons Django Unchained was such a great movie was the casting. Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz played off each other perfectly, Leonardo DiCaprio was admirably despicable and Samuel L. Jackson stole the movie by doing whatever the Samuel Hell he wanted to with his character. However, this Best Picture nominee could have ended up with a Razzie had Quentin Tarantino picked another actor to play Django. This week’s question: other than Jamie Foxx, who was considered for the role?
Will Smith, Tyrese Gibson, Idris Elba, Terrence Williams, Michael Kenneth Williams and Chris Tucker were all considered for the role of Django (source: IMDb)
Well there you have it: a trivia question to stump your friends and turn your Oscar party into a money-making venture. Until next week…
(Disclaimer: I’m not responsible for any nightmares you may have of Chris Tucker playing Django)
